Lara has a background in healthcare, community engagement, fundraising and effective communication. Having built her career around people, whether she’s supporting families, coordinating community initiatives, developing partnerships, planning events, or bringing healthcare education, she brings empathy, curiosity and a people-first mindset into everything that she does.

With a background in healthcare and psychology her experience has shaped how she communicates: with intention, understanding and an appreciation for the person on the other side. She brings with her a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Masters of Counselling Psychology, as well as a furthering education of her MA in School/Applied Child Psychology. From working with physiotherapists, to neurologists, primary care physicians and rural health teams, she’s got extensive clinical and community based knowledge of Parkinsons, Alzheimers, Dementia as well as mental health and addictions.

Outside of work you’ll find her spending time with her family, planning their next adventure, whether it’s on the shores of Lake Huron, or Georgian Bay. Lara’s a mom, an animal lover and true red blooded lover of the outdoors, whether it’s at a rodeo, gardening or farming. You’ll always catch her and her family outside. At her core Lara is passionate about people, creativity connection and creating work that feels genuinely meaningful. She’s excited to bring that perspective, energy and care to the Panel Team.
